Tuesdays at 9AM

Tuesday Morning Prayer

Due to our office move and renovation, we are temporarily meeting at Redeemer Anglican Church, 638 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202. Please enter via the door facing the Avalon Borough parking lot.

Each Tuesday, Bishop Alex, the diocesan staff, and Anglicans from around our diocese gather at 9:00 a.m. for a small communion service and time of prayer. Join us in the office for coffee and fellowship and to pray for the life of the Diocese.

Note that we will NOT meet on June 16, September 15, or December 29, 2026.

September 14-16, 2026

Clergy Retreat

Our clergy gather annually at Antiochian Village in Bolivar, PA, for a time of rest and refreshment.

In 2026, our clergy retreat will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, September 15-16, with optional early arrival on Monday, September 14.

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Brian Wallace will lead this year’s retreat and, together with his wife Lisa, will be offering a limited number of one-on-one spiritual direction appointments on a first-come, first-served basis (make your request when you register).

Registration deadline: Monday, August 24

October 16-17, 2026

Prayer Ministry Training

Do you feel called to learn more about healing prayer? Are you part of your church’s prayer ministry team?

You are invited a training in healing prayer hosted by St. Thomas Gibsonia, sponsored by the ADP, and led by Bishop Alex, Tamara Cameron, and the Isaiah Forty Foundation.

Discover the heart of healing prayer and learn how to minister with confidence, compassion, and the power of the Holy Spirit. In this training, you’ll explore the biblical foundations of healing, why Jesus invites all believers into this work, and how to pray in ways that create safety and honor people’s stories. Join us as we learn to listen, pray, and partner with God in bringing His healing love to others.

Early-bird registration by September 14: $30

Regular registration by October 5: $40

Student/seminarian pricing: $20

November 6-7, 2026

Join Us for Our 161st Diocesan Convention

The Convention of the Diocese of Pittsburgh meets annually to give guidance, apportion resources, and select leaders who will guide and direct the ministries of the congregations throughout the year.

Please save the dates for Convention 2026! We plan to celebrate Opening Eucharist at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6, and conclude by 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 7.

January and June

Ordinations

The Bishop ordains deacons twice a year and priests as needed. All are invited to attend our ordination services, celebrate with us, and pray for our new clergy as they accept the call to ordained ministry.

February 18-20, 2027

Becoming Whole Healing Conference

Join us at the Trophimus Center in Ambridge, PA, for a conference co-hosted with Trinity Anglican Seminary and the Isaiah Forty Foundation.

The ministry of healing and wholeness is at the heart of the life of the Church in the making of disciples. At this conference we look to Jesus for the practical application of his work on the cross to find more freedom for the work of the Gospel. It is an opportunity to reclaim and nurture these vital relationships and help us live healthier, more joy-filled and more effective lives.

March 12-14, 2027
