Protecting Our People

The church of Jesus Christ should be a place of love, care, and safety for all those entrusted to its care, especially those most vulnerable to harm. To that end, in 2025 we created a diocesan task force to create a new Safe Church Policy for the protection of children and vulnerable people. Our congregations unanimously agreed to meet the improved guidelines by the end of the year.

If you have a question about the Safe Church Policy or any of our safeguarding procedures, please contact our safeguarding director, the Rev. Krystal Hustead, at SafeChurches@adpgh.org.

To report an instance of misconduct, contact our diocesan reports receivers through the following form or ReportsReceiver@adpgh.org.
