The Institution of the Rev. Bill Starke

The Rt. Rev. Alex Cameron, bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh, did institute the Rev. William M. Starke as rector of St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

The Rev. Bill Starke has served at several of our Pittsburgh-area parishes over the last eighteen years. He began serving at St. Peter’s in 2024, during the former rector’s medical leave, and accepted the role of priest in charge earlier this year. In addition to his work in ordained ministry, Bill also served as the registrar of Geneva College, and previously Trinity Anglican Seminary.

Bill and his wife Jan have been married for 38 years and have three grown children: one son, and identical twin daughters.
