Director of Worship

Immanuel Anglican Church, which seeks admission to the Diocese of Pittsburgh at our 2026 Convention, is hiring a director of worship who will serve as the primary music leader on Sunday mornings and provide the administrative support and team leadership required for weekly services to run smoothly throughout the liturgical year.

The director of worship will lead three teams responsible for music production, scriptural reading, and art. Team leadership will include recruiting and training new volunteers, scheduling teams, helping team members strengthen their skills and abilities, and creating a vision to guide ministry teams. The director will be responsible for selecting music for each service, managing musical databases, and leading weekly rehearsals. This individual should be a leader who looks for opportunities to point their team members toward Christ, cultivates a spirit of worship, connects incarnationally and relationally, and is in prayer and scriptural study with their teams.
