Our bishop, staff, and governing leaders are passionate about serving the clergy and congregations of our diocese, as well as connecting new Anglicans with resources to grow deeper in their faith.
The Rt. Rev. Alex Whitcomb Cameron was consecrated Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh on August 6, 2022, by the Most Rev. Dr. Foley Beach, Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America. He has been an ordained Anglican priest for more than 30 years, serving churches in Canada and the United States. Most recently, he led the Isaiah Forty Foundation, which provides teaching, prayer, and coaching to those seeking healing and wholeness.
Alex has served as Canon for Church Planting and Leadership Development in the Anglican Diocese in New England, on their Standing Committee as a member and as chair, and as the chair of the Bishop’s Council in the Diocese of the Upper Midwest. He previously worked for General Electric and had his own consulting company. He holds a M.Div. from Wycliffe College in Toronto, and a B.A. from Dalhousie University in Halifax.
Alex and his wife Tamara have been married since 1987. They have four adult children and four grandchildren. He enjoys cycling, woodworking, and playing the double bass.

As canon to the ordinary, Bill assists the bishop in the mission of the Diocese, facilitating the bishop’s work (as senior pastor and diocesan CEO) and functioning as COO. Bill was previously senior associate rector at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Sewickley, PA, where he served for seventeen years. He is a native of western Pennsylvania, attended Quaker Valley High School, and was confirmed at St. Stephen’s. His wife of 32 years, Dana, is a licensed professional counselor, and together they have led marriage retreats for the diocese and for churches around the country. They have three grown children (Wilson, Annie, and Charlie) and two grandchildren (Beau and Bella). Bill is a graduate of Trinity School for Ministry (M.Div. 1998, D.Min. 2018), and he and Dana served at churches in Florida and South Carolina before returning to St. Stephen’s in 2006.
Stephanie oversees outreach and engagement for the diocesan office, including branding, communications, and events.
She has a decade of experience in corporate and nonprofit communications, marketing, and event planning in Maryland, New York, and Ontario, and has won awards for her work as an event planner and marketing consultant. Now working for the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh, she is thrilled to be able to combine her faith and work.
Stephanie is married to the Rev. Dr. Leonard Finn (rector of All Saints Anglican Church and adjunct professor at Trinity Anglican Seminary), mother of two kids and three cats, and a ceramic artist. She holds a B.A. from New York University and a certificate in pastry arts from the French Culinary Institute. She was baptized a few months after graduating from NYU, after wandering into an Episcopal church, and is passionate about helping churches reach the lonely and lost.
Jen is our database administrator and supports our director of administration with various administrative and financial tasks. She can also be found helping wherever needed at diocesan events and around the office. Raised in western Pennsylvania, Jen attended schools in Charleroi, Indiana, and Brownsville. She has a B.S. in chemistry with an education related area from the University of Pittsburgh, and a diploma in Christian ministry from Trinity Anglican Seminary. She has worked at her local public library and as a chemist and chemistry teacher, in addition to many ministry roles, including directing some children’s programs. Jen has two kids with her husband, Eric, as well as three cats. Her family attends Church of the Ascension, where Jen serves in many roles, having recently served as a member of the vestry and a deputy to Convention.
As diocesan safeguarding director, Krystal supports our congregations in creating safe spaces for all those entrusted to our care. Prior to joining our staff, Krystal served as a key member of the volunteer task force that adapted the new ACNA safeguarding guidelines into our diocesan Safe Church Policy.
Krystal holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Sacred Theology from Trinity Anglican Seminary and was ordained in 2024 by the Rt. Rev. Alex Cameron. She serves the Diocese on a part-time basis alongside her work as assistant director of CMJ-USA, and worships and serves alongside her husband, the Rev. Michael Hustead, at Grace Anglican Church in Edgeworth, PA. In her free time, Krystal enjoys knitting, sewing, and making order out of chaos.
Shannon considers it a gift to serve the Diocese while continuing in her roles as a full-time parent and supply priest.
After receiving her master of divinity from Trinity Anglican Seminary in 2020, where she met her husband, the Rev. Canon Andrew Ames Fuller, Shannon spent several years serving church plants in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, before moving in 2023 to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, all the while continuing to walk through the ordination process. Both she and Andrew were ordained to the priesthood on April 23, 2026, and moved back to Pittsburgh along with their four children: Ephrem, Lilias, Adorée, and Melekiya.
Before coming into the Anglican tradition, Shannon and Andrew served churches in other traditions and in several church planting settings. They also bring overseas missions experience and a shared love for helping people hear the Gospel as truly good news, remember the grace and belonging given to us in baptism, and meet the risen and ascended Jesus in the gift of the Eucharist.
They are thankful to be attending Redeemer Anglican Church in the North Boroughs.
Eric is a native of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He studied theology as an undergraduate at Grove City College and, following graduation, entered pastoral ministry at a Baptist church in northern Virginia. He spent five years there serving as a young adult pastor, then moved back to Pittsburgh with his family to plant an inner-city church in the East End.
After another five years serving in inner-city Pittsburgh, Eric pursued further study at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary before moving to a rural community in northwestern Pennsylvania, where he and his family still reside. There, he worked at Grove City College as director of leadership development, helping lead a virtue formation initiative at the college. He later stepped down from that role to attend Trinity Anglican Seminary and serve as a curate at Grace Anglican Church in Grove City. Eric was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2020, and in 2022 he planted Redeemer Anglican Church in Franklin, Pennsylvania.
He continues to serve as rector of Redeemer and lives in Franklin with his wife, Coleen, who is a math teacher at the local high school, and their two sons, Judah and Malachi.
Ben is the associate and youth minister at Christ Church Fox Chapel. He was born and raised in Ohio but has lived most of his adult life in western PA.
Ben studied philosophy and literature at Grove City College and earned his M.Div. from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. He was ordained in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2017.
Ben and his wife Jenna met while serving in youth ministry at Pine Valley Camp. They are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with students and young adults.
Ben and Jenna live in Cheswick with their children, Samuel, Asa, and Junia.
As global missions advocate, Gretchen works at the diocesan and congregational levels to promote Anglican participation in global missions, and networks provincially with fellow global missions advocates and representatives from our New Wineskins Anglican Partners. For local parishes, that translates into practical support: she is available to help congregations pray more intentionally for global workers, identify giving opportunities, and take concrete steps toward sending and supporting cross-cultural missionaries.
Gretchen brings decades of missionary experience to the role. She and her husband Brad served as missionaries in the United States for five years, then as cross-cultural workers in south and southeast Asia for nineteen years, during which they raised their two sons overseas. She holds a master’s in intercultural studies and missiology.
Fr. John Bailey is grateful to God to serve in the Diocese of Pittsburgh under the leadership of the Rt. Rev. Alex Cameron. He has previously served the Diocese on Diocesan Council, the nominating committee, Cursillo weekends, and as a delegate to Provincial Assembly.
John joined the Diocese in 2001, after serving four small parishes in West Virginia. He was called as the assistant rector of Christ Church Fox Chapel. In 2006, he became the vicar of St. Andrew’s New Kensington and in 2009, he became the rector. In 2013, he and the congregation crossed the Allegheny River and purchased a former Free Methodist church, renaming the congregation Christ Our Hope Anglican Church.
Fr. John grew up in rural California, PA. He met his wife Karen while studying at IUP, and they married in 1993. Together, they have three adult children and 1 grandchild.
In his spare time, Fr. John likes to work out at his local YMCA, play guitar, read, and watch his Pittsburgh sports teams.
David L. Hicks was born in Salem County, New Jersey, in 1963. Upon graduation from High School, he attended Valley Forge University (BS, 1984), Westminster Theological Seminary (MAR, 1986), and Lutheran Theological Seminary, Philadelphia (STM, 1999). In 2016 he earned a PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia.
David was employed by the New Jersey General Assembly from 1987 to 1995, as a legislative aide to the Majority Leader, then Speaker, of the General Assembly. Simultaneously, he was pursuing ordination in the Reformed Episcopal Church, being ordained deacon in 1990 and priest in 1992. He held a part-time position in church planting for the diocese. In 1995 he accepted the call to serve as rector of St. Paul’s Reformed Episcopal Church, Oreland, Pennsylvania. The following year he also began lecturing at the Reformed Episcopal Seminary, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and was later named professor of New Testament. During this time, he met his wife, Lisa, and they were married in 1998. In 2005, he was elected and consecrated bishop of the Diocese of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. He also continued to function at the seminary in administrative and academic capacities.
Desiring to return to parish ministry, Bishop David accepted a call to serve as rector of Saint Peter’s Anglican Church, Butler, Pennsylvania in August 2019. He presently serves on the Butler County Children and Youth Advisory Board.
Bishop David continues to be a member of the ACNA College of Bishops. His past committee assignments have been on the Prayer Book Task Force and the Task Force on Holy Orders. He presently serves on the ecumenical dialogue teams with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the Orthodox Church in America.
David and Lisa reside in Butler, Pennsylvania and have three grown children.
Alex is rector of Christ Church Fox Chapel. He was born in Liverpool in the UK and grew up in rural Devon. He then worked in London as a lawyer for ten years where he specialized in litigation.
Alex was ordained in the Church of England, he has degrees in theology from Bristol and Canterbury Universities and previously served as an assistant minister at Holy Trinity Redhill, a large evangelical church south of London. He was also the senior pastor of Timplerely Church, a small church in a deprived area.
He is married to Kat, an American and now also British citizen and they have two young children, Ben and Hannah.
His interests are photography, running, anything with an engine in it and watching his favorite teams come last every year. Although very comfortable in Pittsburgh: the perfect blend of Liverpool, Devon and London, he is still adjusting to supporting teams that win.
