Following the Journey of Jesus

"As we walk through Epiphany and the rest of this first half of the church year, we’re really focused on the life of Jesus. And I want to invite you to be paying attention to those rhythms, from Jesus’s birth, to Epiphany, to his baptism, the initiation of his ministry, and then the exercise of that ministry—the teaching and healing—that culminates in this transfiguration moment where the voice of God says, 'This is my son, listen to him.' And then he turns his attention to his work, and we turn our attention to the journey through Lent to Easter."

Back from our Christmas office closure, Bishop Alex reflects on the importance of the next few months in the church calendar—which help us recall the important events of Jesus's earthly life—and how we, as Christians, can walk with him through this journey.
