How Can Disequilibrium Benefit Us?

"Many of you may be aware that we in the diocesan office are going to need to move. We have been in this space since I've been bishop, but the building is being sold and we're going to have to leave, and that has created a place of disequilibrium for us. What's next? Where do we go? What are our options? And it's interesting that in that moment of disequilibrium... some things have become really clear to me as we look forward to where we want to be as a diocesan office and what is important to us."

Inspired by a leadership retreat he attended last week, Bishop Alex reflects on the idea of disequilibrium and how embracing that feeling can help us see our priorities in a new light.
