The church of Jesus Christ should be a place of love, care, and safety for all its members, especially those most vulnerable to harm. To that end, in 2025 a diocesan task force released a new Safe Church Policy for the protection of children and vulnerable people. Our congregations have unanimously agreed to meet the improved guidelines by the end of the year.
