Trinity Sunday: What Is the Trinity and Do We Need to Believe in It?

"Do you have to believe in the Trinity? No, unless you want to be Christian. Indeed, the truth is that—at its very heart—Christian belief and understanding is Trinitarian belief and understanding. It is our conviction as we read the Scriptures that we know and understand that God from eternity has revealed himself to be Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."

Leading up to Trinity Sunday in our annual church calendar, Bishop Alex explains the importance of the Trinity to what we believe and its presence throughout the Bible, from the very first words of Genesis.
