Welcome the Rev. Dr. Bruce Robison

We are pleased to welcome the Rev. Bruce Robison, DMin, to the Diocese! Bruce has been received from the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh to worship and serve at Church of Our Saviour in Glenshaw.

The Rev. Bruce Robison was received in September 2025 from the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh, where he served as rector of St. Andrew’s Church in the Highland Park neighborhood from 1994 until his retirement at the end of 2019. In the years following that “first retirement” he continued in ministry as part-time vicar of All Saints Church in the Brighton Heights neighborhood and as Church Pension Fund chaplain to retired clergy, spouses, and surviving spouses.

In Bruce’s words, “It has been my calling, I think, to live out the four decades of my ministerial career as something of an old-fashioned parson—a pastor who loves the Lord Jesus and His people and who just plain enjoys the daily routines of parish life. I try to keep things simple. It continues to be such a great privilege, in preaching and teaching and spiritual conversation, to commend the Word of God in the Church and for the world.”

Now “re-retired,” he and his wife Susy worship at the Church of Our Saviour in Glenshaw. They live in Highland Park and are especially pleased that their two adult children, Daniel and Linnea, live nearby.
