We are pleased to announce the recent hire of the Rev. Shannon Ames Fuller as our part-time communications and events assistant. Shannon considers it a gift to serve the Diocese while continuing in her roles as a full-time parent and supply priest.
After receiving her master of divinity from Trinity Anglican Seminary in 2020, where she met her husband, the Rev. Canon Andrew Ames Fuller, Shannon spent several years serving church plants in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, before moving in 2023 to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, all the while continuing to walk through the ordination process. Both she and Andrew were ordained to the priesthood on April 23, 2026, and moved back to Pittsburgh along with their four children: Ephrem, Lilias, Adorée, and Melekiya.
Before coming into the Anglican tradition, Shannon and Andrew served churches in other traditions and in several church planting settings. They also bring overseas missions experience and a shared love for helping people hear the Gospel as truly good news, remember the grace and belonging given to us in baptism, and meet the risen and ascended Jesus in the gift of the Eucharist.
They are thankful to be attending Redeemer Anglican Church in the North Boroughs under the leadership of the Rev. Ethan Carlson, and they look forward to worshiping, serving, and sharing life with the parish.
