The Slow Dawn of Easter

"What I like about the text of Easter is that it's reflective of our own experience of who Jesus is. Some of us have a Damascus Road experience where something changes suddenly, but often our entire Christian life is a slow dawning."

As Bishop Alex reflects on our Easter morning reading, which details the gradual realization of the women, the disciples, and others that Jesus is risen from the dead, he notices a parallel with the fits and starts we often experience in our faith and growth as believers today.
