Children’s Pastor

The Children’s Pastor is a member of the senior pastoral staff of Church of the Redeemer, who work together with the Rector to create space for the whole parish to encounter the redeeming love of God in Jesus Christ. With the Gospel as our sole priority, this role is pastoral before it is programmatic.

Paying special attention to families with children in infancy through 5th grade, the Children’s Pastor’s primary focus is on the relational ministry of evangelizing and catechizing the youngest members of our community. To further this work, the Children’s Pastor recruits and leads a team of volunteers who help our children to experience the love of God expressed to them in the form of loving adults, especially in the context of our primary Sunday morning program.
