Rector

Prince of Peace is seeking a qualified leader to guide our church into its next chapter. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong character, skills, compatibility, and experience—particularly prior service as a Rector, though applicants from all backgrounds will be considered. 

We aim to attract committed candidates who will help Prince of Peace grow and advance our ministry. We seek Christian leaders who act with integrity, accountability, and faithfulness, demonstrating godly character under any circumstances. Our committee is looking for a Rector whose habits and spiritual practices enable them to listen closely to the Lord and care for others. 

The position of Rector in a smaller church involves responsibilities across several areas: preaching, teaching, managing church finances, leading a staff team, setting direction for the parish, designing services and leading worship, providing congregational care, counseling, participating in both celebratory and mourning events. The next rector is also expected to have commitments to their family. Prioritizing personal well-being means family support is equally vital.
